Like most of you, we have been following the Coronavirus pandemic and tracking its rapid spread. As we watch the world, but particularly countries like China, Italy, and now the United States adjust to this new reality, we find ourselves stopping many times during the day to check on friends and family, the healthcare workers we know, and all those who have been impacted already by this virus.

Our company operates in the incredible AI arena – where innovations in retail, automotive and healthcare often seem like science fiction. Particularly today, we need to allow our healthcare ecosystem to work as hard and as fast as they can to find treatments, vaccines and other paths that might help mitigate the impact of the virus.

To the extent that AI and Deep Learning (DL) can and will be used to help fight the pandemic, we are offering Run:AI software support to any research or healthcare non-profit organization that is working specifically on a DL initiative to fight COVID-19. Run:AI allows the dynamic pooling and sharing of expensive hardware resources like GPU and we hope we can help researchers build and train their models faster and with more efficient use of resources. We have helped many speed their time-to-market for AI initiatives, we can only hope that in donating free software to those on the front lines, that we can help speed delivery of research to help those in need.
